Jim is an experienced speaker who has life experiences to share. As a businessperson he has worked in large corporations in leadership positions and also runs his own small business, which enables him to understand the differences each encounter. Jim has many talents besides his dynamic speaking ability. He is a musician, entertainer and Elvis impersonator. More importantly to Jim is his role as a Father and now Grandfather. Much of Jim’s material is derived from his family experiences. He earned a BS degree in Management from the University of Maryland, is a Licensed Real Estate Broker, a Registered Lobbyist and is now pursuing an Appraisers license to be able to work with his daughter when she is busy.

Using his business experiences along with those from his family, Jim brings to his audiences, everyday practical solutions to problems. With his experiences, Jim can understand what it takes to be successful; the challenges people face and gives them ideas on how to meet those challenges. As an example Jim has faced the struggle of his wife having a stroke and all that she has done in her recovery. He shares that story to show the importance of living life to the fullest every day.

Jim uses humor, music and stories that helps the audience to remember the messages that Jim delivers. People will leave his programs with improved skills and knowledge on the topic presented but will also be aware of the importance of setting priorities in their life, the value of living life to the fullest with great personal relationships and the need to stay positive in their outlook on life. All this translates into employees who are more motivated in their work life and their personal life because they see better the need for the balance of work and play. He also stresses that we are but one phone call away from and life changing experience and should live every day to the fullest.

In this program Jim covers the basics including audience analysis, importance of openings and closings, Do’s and Dont’s from the platform, dealing with the physical facilities and the use of AV equipment.

“Is Your Leadership Sinking”
From a one-hour keynote to a multi day workshop, Jim’s talk explains the definition of Leadership and the Characteristics of good Leaders. In longer sessions, topics may include teamwork, consensus decision-making, time management and running effective meetings.
